This was my third year in a row photographing these sweet girls and their family. Pulled out a few extra stops this time with a tea party and it was great fun! They are both at the age where this was the perfect activity and it was so cute to photograph them playing and enjoying themselves! A little extra work but it was totally worth it to get these images
. Lots of great ones that I know their family love, so I hope you love them too!
I met Eric back in 2009 when he was a groomsman back in Devin and Lisa’s wedding. That particular wedding has made me some pretty great contacts – I have already photographed weddings of two of Devin’s groomsmen! I remembered Eric to be very genuine and friendly and so when he and his fiance contacted me last year about shooting their wedding in Lethbridge, I jumped at the chance! I was so glad to travel to this beautiful city and experience a bit of different scenery! This couple is nothing but sweet and kind and they deserve all the best. Britt and I had yet another adventure that we totally loved and we laughed and joked with this awesomely huge wedding party. There were some serious antics during the photos including secret goofy chalkboard messages and even a run in with a snake! The dance was a blast and we just knew everyone was having the best time. Eric and Ashley’s first dance was to Ray Lamontagne’s “You are the Best Thing” – a cute upbeat song that fit their personalities perfectly. I still have a few wedding posts from 2011 that I have yet to get to! This past fall was pretty brutal for me -working full time and trying to edit my last few weddings, it was busy that is for sure! But even though I shot these a while ago, I still want to share them with you all as well as a couple other shoots I did. I had to turn many people down for family and couple shoots this fall – makes me sad but I just couldn’t manage my time for all of that extra work on top of nursing full time. This summer I have a few less weddings booked so I hope to be able to fit in some more shoots like that. September and October my email was seriously ON FIRE! But in future, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact me in late spring or early summer if you are wanting to book something with me – my time is very precious to me. :)
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season filled with fun and friends and family – I know I did! But not it’s time to get back to reality and back to work! With that, please meet these lovely friends of mine – Jeff and Annalisa. I went to nursing school with Annalisa as well as lived with her while we were going to school, some of my favorite memories were in that house. These two are great together and it was a pleasure to capture their unique morning ceremony at the forestry farm here in Saskatoon. Enjoy!
