We thought the dog poop and the mosquitoes were bad last night, we were wrong! Minutes after this photo was taken we found out that someone had smashed a window in Kendall and Joel’s truck and taken a bunch of their stuff while we were shooting. I was so sad and angry to learn this but they handled it very well (I think I was more upset than them haha) and their true colours came shining through. What a genuinely sweet and kind couple. I am excited to be heading to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with them in November! They made the trek all the way from Kindersley for this shoot, so I appreciated that as well.

On a related note, there seems to be a huge increase in vehicle break-ins in our city lately. This exact same thing happened to my vehicle only a couple short weeks ago so I can totally relate. Photographers and everyone else reading this, please be advised to not leave anything enticing in your vehicle for people to steal. It’s not only angering but it’s a huge headache and gets expensive too! And if you see suspicious activity – definitely report it to the police!
